Even my mom sometimes asks me why I disappear from social networks.
It happens that the “logistics” of my daily life suffers, and I can’t allocate enough time for social networks to create posts and stories.
What am I doing?
I am a mother.
And I’m lucky. I have the opportunity to pay for a private kindergarten, where my daughter goes during the week, and where she has at least three more adults who take care of her and love her. In the absence of an opportunity to visit grandparents because of a lockdown, this is priceless.
I have my own business. I advise corporate clients on the topic “how to work better and not spend a lot of money.” You have to work a lot to take your child to a good kindergarten and pay the babysitter when needed.
I do not work for hire, as it was impossible to combine work in a corporation as a director and motherhood alone. It is the 21st century, guys. Since even in Germany, it is almost impossible to be 100% successful as a professional if you are left alone with your child without relatives’ support. I’m not talking about money, but about simple logistics like “take care of the child when he/she is sick, and you have an important meeting” or “bring kid sometimes from kindergarten,” etc.
